About The Position

UnityTec is seeking an Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) to join their team. The role involves providing comprehensive security engineering support throughout the system lifecycle, utilizing specialized methodologies to address complex cybersecurity and technology challenges. The ISSE will systematically analyze security requirements to optimize organizational workflows, project planning, and secure system deployments. This position is located in Columbus, OH, and requires travel.

Requirements

• Experienced with ACAS Administrator.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience maintaining Vulnerability scanning solutions in a DOD environment.
• Highly proficient with Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support -AND- System Administration.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess a DoD current Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
• Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 IAT level III.
• Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 CND-IS.

Responsibilities

• Delivering end-to-end security engineering support that encompasses the planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems to ensure robust security postures.
• Evaluating critical information security requirements and seamlessly integrating electronic processes and methodologies to resolve overarching system vulnerabilities and technology-specific cybersecurity problems.
• Applying rigorous analytical and systematic approaches to execute routine project tasks, resolve specialized cybersecurity challenges, and enhance organizational workflow, structuring, and planning.
