It guides key security tools and processes that reduce risk and keep information available for trusted use. As an Information Security Specialist 2, you will perform the following duties: Security Infrastructure Oversight: Direct security hardware and software across Delivery Centers and enterprise operations Firewall and Access Management: Manage firewall tools and remote access solutions that support secure connectivity Incident Response Support: Coordinate steps that limit misuse of information and reduce denial of service risks Technical Guidance: Assist Delivery Centers in meeting business needs while following enterprise security policies Administrative Management: Provide support for planning, design, and administration of security operations solutions.

Requirements

• One year as an Information Security Specialist 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
• Three years of experience performing technical work in information technology security, and an associate’s degree in any information technology field
• One year of experience performing technical work in information technology security, and a bachelor’s degree in any information technology field
• An equivalent combination of experience and training
• Two or more years of full-time professional experience troubleshooting Enterprise networks or Enterprise network related issues
• Meet the PA residency requirement
• Be able to perform essential job functions
• Pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
• A conditional offer of employment will require an in-depth Pennsylvania State Police background check
