About The Position

The Information Security Seasonal Employee opportunity is designed to enhance the skills of an individual pursuing a career in Information Security (InfoSec). The selected individual will join the Information Security team, gaining exposure to various functions within the InfoSec and Information Technology departments. This role will foster working relationships across the bank and contribute to the growth of the individual's skills and knowledge. Assigned projects will allow the individual to demonstrate their abilities and provide insights into specific areas such as vendor due diligence controls, disaster recovery documentation, and application controls testing. The role will support InfoSec initiatives, including the development of security awareness and phishing training materials, monitoring of incident response management tools, and updating the Bank’s disaster recovery plans.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents.
  • Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to communicate to clients directly and effectively.
  • Ability to use telephone systems and possess good computer skills including email, internet, and intranet use.
  • Prior experience or the ability to learn core transaction system, debit card system, statement processing system, cash advance machines and any other computer programs pertinent to performing job duties.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.
  • Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Employees may be required to travel.
  • Ability to travel on occasion to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite.
  • Background screening will be conducted.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the review of all Bank software, system security posture, and new software setup.

  • Effectively support all department activities and responsibilities as the individual may have daily interaction with all business units.
  • Engages new processes, tools, and systems in support of the Information Security Program.
  • Works with co-workers in achieving department goals.
