About The Position

Our Information Security Department is a dynamic and forward-thinking team dedicated to safeguarding the organization's digital assets and operations. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies and innovative strategies, we proactively design, build, and implement robust security solutions across a diverse range of business functions. The Information Security Director for Governance, Assurance, & Compliance will help lead the vision, strategy, assurance, and security operations for Hallmark’s enterprise-wide information security program.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of professional experience
At least 7 years of IT experience
Leadership experience
Experience with technology, process, and collaboration

Nice To Haves

CISSP, CISA\CISM, CCNA, MCSA and/or GSEC - Information Security tools, processes, procedures, and concepts
At least 7 years of IT security experience
Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

Leading and maturing the organization’s security operations capabilities across network, endpoint, and monitoring domains.
Ensuring effective protection, detection, and response capabilities while aligning with enterprise risk management and compliance objectives.
Overseeing core security and network operation functions including firewall and network security, endpoint protection platforms, and SIEM/SOC capabilities.
Ensuring operational excellence, continuous improvement, and integration of threat intelligence into detection and response processes across hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud).
Managing Managed Service Providers associated with the above workflows and our internal frontline support team and on-call rotation.
Managing Security Operations and Network Operations Functions.
