About The Position
Wellabe is seeking an intern to join the Information Security team for a 10-week paid internship from June 7th through August 13th, 2027. In this collaborative role, you will get a chance to learn important skills and gain professional experience by working on a variety of projects and learning from our team. You will participate in a well-rounded internship program with the opportunity to gain real-world experience that supplements traditional classroom learning.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing degree in IT or related field
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Information security or systems administration experience is a plus
- Broad knowledge of how Information Systems operate is helpful
- Previous internship or related experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Focus on Information Technology administration and/or security
- Maintains and operates information system security controls and countermeasures.
- Monitors and assists with the implementation of security controls and procedures in business processes related to use of information systems and assets.
- Monitors information systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities; reports on incidents, vulnerabilities, and trends.
