About The Position

Saffery Trust is seeking an Information Security Governance Senior Administrator to support the Senior Information Security Officer in delivering the firm's Information Security Governance programme. This role involves administration, document management, evidence collation, record keeping, and coordination activities. The position provides administrative support to the Information Security function, ensuring that governance documentation, registers, evidence repositories, and trackers are accurate, organized, and easy to maintain. The role is permanent, based in Guernsey, and reports to the Senior Information Security Officer.

Requirements

  • A sound understanding of tasks covering a range of activities using multiple methods, techniques, and processes.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications including SharePoint Online, Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to converse with a range of people, adapting style with ease to suit the audience and situation.
  • Ability to identify and resolve non-complex issues with support and direction.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks to achieve deadlines with support and direction.
  • Ability to work to specified standards and service levels and propose solutions to resolve straightforward daily problems.
  • Evidence a positive and committed approach to teamwork and understand the importance of working together to provide excellent client service.
  • Compliance with the firm's Information Security Policy and associated procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining records relating to information security policies, procedures, standards, and guidance documents, including version control, review schedules, and approval records.
  • Maintaining action trackers and monitoring progress of outstanding governance, audit, and certification activities.
  • Collating and organizing evidence for the firm’s cyber security certifications (Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, and IASME Cyber Assurance), maintaining evidence indexes and repositories.
  • Tracking certification tasks and readiness against the schedule, escalating any slippage to the SISO.
  • Issuing supplier questionnaires, tracking responses, and maintaining supplier assurance records with status updates.
  • Maintaining third-party due diligence records.
  • Maintaining all relevant registers and trackers, including action logs and policy review records.
  • Maintaining supplier records and evidence indexes.
