About The Position

This position serves as a trusted security advisor and technical resource for regional operations and acquired entities throughout Care Delivery - West Region. In this role, you will assess security risks, support remediation efforts, assist with incident response activities, implement security controls, and help acquired entities align with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with local IT teams, infrastructure teams, application owners, compliance partners, and security teams to improve overall security posture while supporting business operations and integration initiatives. Responsibilities include vulnerability management, incident response coordination, security consultations, risk remediation, and facilitating adoption of enterprise security capabilities, while leveraging enterprise-approved AI tools to augment threat detection, streamline security workflows, and deploy security automations. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • 3+ years of experience in information security engineering, cybersecurity operations, or security risk advisory
  • 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, risk remediation, or security incident response coordination
  • 2 years of experience utilizing automated security tools or AI-assisted technologies to optimize security operations, threat detection, or workflow efficiency
  • 2+ years of experience working with enterprise infrastructure, local IT environments, or security controls in clinical/healthcare environments
  • 1 years of experience working with enterprise security tools such as Splunk, Tanium, ServiceNow, Microsoft Defender, Azure Security tools, or similar platforms
  • 1+ years of experience collaborating with cross-functional technology, compliance, or acquired entity teams to remediate security risks

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Industry-recognized security certification such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CCSP
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Splunk, Tanium, ServiceNow Security Operations, Microsoft Defender, and Azure Security tools
  • Experience assisting with security alignment and technology integration for acquired business entities
  • Hands-on experience building, training, or deploying AI/ML models or AI-powered tools for security incident detection or automated risk response
  • Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) to develop custom security automations and integrate security APIs

  • Collaborate with local IT, infrastructure, application owners, compliance partners, and security teams to implement security controls and support integration initiatives
  • Assist with incident response coordination, root cause analysis, and remediation implementation for regional security events
  • Deploy, operate, and utilize enterprise security tools such as Splunk, Tanium, ServiceNow, Microsoft Defender, and Azure Security tools to monitor and safeguard healthcare infrastructure
  • Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate vulnerability management tasks, and drive continuous operational improvement
  • Evaluate emerging trends and AI technologies to inform solution design, strategic innovation, and security automation across regional operations
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered security automations to address complex cybersecurity challenges and accelerate risk remediation with an emphasis on responsible AI use
  • Facilitate the adoption of enterprise security capabilities and maintain security documentation, operational guidelines, and compliance tracking reports
