About The Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Information Security Engineer – Encryption & CipherTrust SME. This is a contract position expected to last 12 months with the possibility of extension. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, with available locations in Charlotte, NC, Chandler, AZ, or Columbus, OH. As an Information Security Engineer – Encryption & CipherTrust SME, you will administer and support Thales CipherTrust Key Manager and CipherTrust Transparent Encryption (CTE). You will lead infrastructure and firmware upgrade projects, including testing, implementation, and change/incident management. This role also involves providing technical mentorship, creating standards and documentation, and guiding best practices for junior engineers. You will troubleshoot complex encryption and OS-level issues across Linux and Windows environments, harden and tune operating systems to optimize CipherTrust agent performance, and develop automation scripts and workflows using Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, and other tools.

Requirements

• Experience with Information Security Engineering experience.
• Experience with Thales CipherTrust Key Manager and CipherTrust Transparent Encryption.
• OS-level administration experience (Linux, Unix, Windows) including troubleshooting, hardening, and tuning.
• Experience with scripting/automation experience (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, etc.).
• Experience with HSMs or security appliance devices.
• Must be able to be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Responsibilities
