About The Position

The State of Arizona (AZDOR) is seeking an Information Security Compliance Analyst to support security operations, compliance, and risk management. This role focuses on safeguarding systems, monitoring vulnerabilities, and ensuring adherence to state and federal security standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of experience in computer systems and security
Strong knowledge of: Information security principles (firewalls, encryption, authentication)
Strong knowledge of: Risk assessment, compliance, and security audits
Strong knowledge of: Security tools and vulnerability management
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with Tenable (vulnerability management tools)
Experience in project management or security initiatives
Familiarity with enterprise security frameworks and compliance standards

Responsibilities

Perform security assessments, audits, and risk analysis
Manage and track security findings, tickets, and compliance metrics
Review vulnerability scan results and identify false positives and risk priorities
Collaborate with teams to improve security processes and controls
Develop and implement strategies to protect data and systems
Monitor and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures
Investigate security violations and provide training and awareness
Identify threats, vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigation strategies
Maintain documentation and reporting for security compliance
Support continuous improvement of security posture and operations
