Information Security Communication Specialist
About The Position
The Communication Specialist will support a high-profile law enforcement agency's Enterprise Information Security program team within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) with technical writing and communications to support the client's cybersecurity programs. The Communication Specialist will collaborate closely with the client's leadership to document, communicate, and promote cybersecurity best practices, incident response procedures, and compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining detailed technical documentation, policies, procedures, and communication materials.
Requirements
- An ACTIVE TOP SECRET federal security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree from a university or college. Educational requirement may be waived if the candidate has eight (8) or more years of experience.
- Five (5) or more years professional experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience with writing to cybersecurity concepts and principles
- Excellent technical writing, communications, and presentation skills
- Department of Justice experience a plus
