About The Position

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Information Security Analyst for an immediate 6+ month contract opportunity with long-term potential. The position is remote in the U.S. and supports a leading healthcare industry client. The role applies cybersecurity principles to organizational requirements and focuses on infrastructure security, including building and maintaining security systems, establishing standards, and assessing conformance. The pay range is $50–$55 per hour.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of related experience in cybersecurity and infrastructure security.
• A bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field, such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with baseline security requirements and platform hardening principles.
• Knowledge of encryption and tunneling protocols, networking technologies, and application protocols.
• Familiarity with infrastructure security risk identification and prioritization tools such as Wiz.
• Experience with enterprise IT security risk assessments and frameworks, such as the ISO 27000 series and NIST 800 Series.

Nice To Haves

• CompTIA Security certification preferred.
