The Information Security Analyst is primarily responsible for safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all ADHS data, including sensitive health and personal information. This role acts as the primary security liaison for the user community, ensuring that all staff understand and adhere to required data protection protocols. The Analyst manages identity and access control across the enterprise, handling user account creation, role modifications, and removals using modern authentication tools. Daily responsibilities include enforcing security standards across ADHS on-premise servers and cloud platforms, managing directory permissions, monitoring security alerts, and serving as the subject matter expert for all security-related Help Desk escalations. In addition to daily security administration, the Analyst plays a critical role in change management by guiding secure deployments and enforcing version control procedures across all ADHS networks and applications. This position also serves as a technical project lead for ADHS secure data transfer and remote access initiatives, such as implementing secure VPNs and modern network access solutions. The role requires readiness for emergency incident response, which involves off-hour account administration, forensic system lock-downs, and rapid threat mitigation during active security events. Finally, the Information Security Analyst is expected to support a diverse, multicultural workforce that reflects the community. The ideal candidate will promote equal opportunity at all levels of ADHS and help foster an inclusive work environment that enables all individuals to perform to their fullest potential, free from discrimination. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
