About The Position

The Senior Information Security Analyst defines, develops and/or implements Technology Controls / Information Security related policies, programs, tools and provides specialized expertise and guidance on assessing risks, identifying potential gaps and providing security solutions to mitigate risks and protect the Bank. Participates on projects of moderate to high complexity and provide complex reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional, business line or enterprise level for own area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Skills to identify, assess, and monitor technology risks including information security, cyber security, resilience, operations/change management quality, data quality/security, and IT compliance.
  • Strong critical thinking - ability to decompose complex issues into manageable pieces.
  • Ability to articulate ideas, share experiences and skills.
  • Firm commitment to staying informed/abreast of emerging cyber and information security issues, industry trends.
  • Strength in prioritizing and managing your own workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines with limited guidance from management.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in the areas of technology, information and cyber security, risk management and governance.
  • High flexibility and are comfortable working in a fluid, changing environment.
  • Strong communication, written and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Information security certification / accreditation an asset.
  • Knowledge of enterprise tools (Archer, JIRA, PowerBI) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Defines, develops and/or implements Technology Controls / Information Security related policies, programs, tools.
  • Provides specialized expertise and guidance on assessing risks, identifying potential gaps and providing security solutions to mitigate risks and protect the Bank.
  • Participates on projects of moderate to high complexity.
  • Provides complex reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional, business line or enterprise level for own area.
  • Acts as a key resource and subject matter expert in at least one technology niche/ field and/or line of business.
  • Document internal processes and make periodic updates to existing documentation.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge / expertise in own area.
  • Keep current on emerging trends / developments and grow knowledge of the business, analytical tools and techniques.
  • Understands and supports the Bank's Customer Service Strategy.
  • Considers the impact of decisions on the well-being of TD, its Customers and stakeholders.
  • Provides the highest level of Customer service when dealing with internal partners, vendors or our Customers.
  • Models quality service delivery at every interaction.
  • Leads and contributes to the ongoing improvement of the partner / Customer experience.
