About The Position

The Security Analyst supports the day-to-day operations of the Security Engineering program by performing operational security tasks, data analysis, and security reporting across multiple security domains. This role contributes to the effective execution and visibility of security services by working with security tools, analyzing security data, and delivering clear, actionable reporting to internal security teams and IT business units. This role is well-suited for an early-career professional with a strong aptitude for data analytics and reporting, an interest in security operations, and the desire to grow within an enterprise security organization.

Requirements

• Combined experience in information security, IT, data analytics, or related technical roles.
• Relevant internships, academic projects, or equivalent experience are acceptable.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Aptitude for data analytics and visualization, scripting, and automations
• Basic understanding of information security concepts and risk
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree desired or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.
• Security and/or analytics certifications such as Security+ or Microsoft Power BI are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, schedule, and monitor recurring and ad-hoc security activities using approved security tools
• Validate results, ensure expected coverage, and coordinate with asset owners and IT teams to resolve data quality or execution issues
• Export, normalize, and analyze security data from vulnerability management and other security tools
• Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to communicate security trends, risk indicators, and operational metrics
• Produce clear, accurate security reports tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Support additional Technical Security functions as needed, such as cloud security, identity, or architecture
• Maintain documentation, metrics definitions, and reporting standards
• Stay current on security trends and emerging risks through training and research
