The Information Security Analyst will work with the IT Infrastructure and Security Manager to establish computer system physical and information security standards and procedures. This role involves coordinating physical security matters with facilities management, recommending improvements, and establishing network security standards and procedures with the Network Engineer. The analyst will be responsible for installing firewalls, system endpoint protection, data encryption, and other security measures. They will research and recommend security enhancements, support the installation of security hardware and software, and provide production support for Third Party Systems. A key responsibility includes maintaining company-wide server, workstation, and other systems patching and system hardening, including the VMWare farm. The role also involves performing in-house penetration testing, contributing to the design of the company’s overall system and information security, and developing plans for security-related technical tasks and projects. Collaboration with the Network Engineer on securing network equipment and with vendors for security software deployment, monitoring, and issue resolution is essential. The analyst will ensure appropriate documentation and procedures are in place and lead conversion efforts for data integrity. Providing superior customer service to all Credit Union employees is also a core function, along with other assigned duties.
