About The Position

We are seeking an Information Security Analyst / ISSO for the COMSEC IT Services contract. The Information Security Analyst / ISSO will provide cybersecurity, Risk Management Framework, Assessment and Authorization, continuous monitoring, and security-control support for COMSEC information systems. The PWS specifically includes ISSO, RMF/A&A, GRC, continuous monitoring, security plans, POA&Ms, vulnerability management, and NIST 800-series requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of cybersecurity experience.
  • Experience with NIST 800-53.
  • FedRAMP experience.
  • Experience with security control lifecycles.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations.
  • Security+ certification or DoD 8570 IAT Level II.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
  • CISSP or similar certification within 6 months of hire.
  • CSM
  • RMF and A&A experience in Federal environments.
  • Experience supporting classified systems.
  • Experience with GRC tools, Splunk, ServiceNow, or related platforms.
  • Department of State cybersecurity experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ISSO functions for assigned COMSEC systems.
  • Support Risk Management Framework activities.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation.
  • Support Assessment and Authorization packages.
  • Maintain System Security Plans and supporting artifacts.
  • Manage and track Plans of Action and Milestones.
  • Support continuous monitoring and security-control assessments.
  • Evaluate implementation of NIST 800-53 security controls.
  • Support vulnerability-management activities.
  • Coordinate security findings and remediation actions.
  • Maintain authorization evidence and compliance documentation.
  • Support security reviews and system changes.
  • Coordinate with Government security organizations and technical teams.
  • Support FedRAMP-related requirements where applicable.
  • Assist with security risk assessments and corrective-action planning.
