About The Position

Actively supports and participates in the planning, development, implementation, monitoring, testing, and review of the Hawaii National Bank and Hawaii National Bancshares, Inc. (HNB) enterprise-wide Information Security Program and supporting Security Operations function. This position’s primary focus is to protect the bank’s information assets and mitigate risk for unauthorized access, disclosure, and misuse.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Three (3) years of experience in banking, information technology, auditing, compliance, security, or a related field.
In-depth analytical skills, including the ability to consolidate broad data sets from multiple sources, both internal and external, to identify patterns and/or risk factors.
Initiative-taking with a strong willingness to learn in a hands-on learning environment.
Critical thinker with the ability to research, develop and communicate solutions to detect security incidents in a timely manner.
Strong interpersonal, oral, and writing skills to effectively communicate complex IT security concepts to a diverse audience.

Responsibilities

Planning, development, implementation, monitoring, testing, and review of the enterprise-wide Information Security Program and supporting Security Operations function.
