About The Position

This role focuses on creating technical synergy to enhance efficiencies for DoD clients operating in the information environment. The specialist will apply command and control (C2) expertise, leadership, and communication skills to help the U.S. Marine Corps, DoD, and coalition partners accelerate their transformation towards necessary systems, processes, and capabilities to maintain information advantage. The position involves researching, developing, analyzing, assessing, planning, supporting, and implementing critical transformational change to support warfighting capabilities. The specialist will use technical and analytical skills to examine data from various C2 systems (unclassified to classified) to provide government leaders insights into the physical, informational, and cognitive spaces. Responsibilities include assisting with software solutions design, implementing analysis infrastructure and tools, analytic workflow processes, complex data visualizations, and ensuring software solutions meet IE C2 requirements. The role also involves assisting with data collection and ingestion from structured and unstructured sources, identifying and acquiring cutting-edge visual and analytical software, applications, and data fusion technologies, leading data exploration and analytic projects, and providing coaching on data topics.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supporting U.S. Marine Corps operations
  • Experience with information systems and intelligence including Palantir, Maven Smart Systems (MSS), Foundry, FADE, MIST, Bohdi, and Thresher
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and associated applications
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with C2 or other online systems on classified and unclassified networks that support battlespace awareness and visualizations
  • Experience supporting Colonel-level, O-6, or higher command staff processes
  • Ability to work independently
  • Possession of excellent analytical, data mining, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Graduate of U.S. Marine Corps Command and Staff, Expeditionary Warfare School, or Information Operations training course
