About The Position
This role is for an Information Assurance Specialist located in Washington, DC. The position requires an active Secret Security Clearance. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, along with specific certifications and extensive experience in Information Assurance.
Requirements
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline
- Current DoW 8570/8140 Certification: Must meet Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II and Information or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II baseline requirements [e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Security+ CE (Continuing Education), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)+CE]
- Five (5) years of dedicated Information Assurance experience
- At least three (3) of those being consecutive years of experience relevant to the tasks
Responsibilities
- Meet Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II and Information or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II baseline requirements.
- Demonstrate recent (within the last year) hands-on understanding of the DoW cybersecurity environment.
