About The Position

Accenture Federal Services is hiring an Information Assurance (IA) Policy and Compliance Certified Professional Senior to lead the Cyber Operations Team and ensure robust cybersecurity measures within a secure operations center. The role safeguards information systems against cyber threats, primarily in a Department of Defense, Department of Energy, or law enforcement environment. The position is required to be based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and requires an active Secret clearance.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in Cyber Security Operations (Tier-2 or higher) in a secure environment.
• At least 3 years of relevant information security experience (Tier-1 or Tier-2).
• A master's degree (MA/MS) with at least 10 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with at least 12 years of experience in information security and Cyber Security operations.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, networking, and security products.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Must be based in Albuquerque, NM.
• Must have US work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant certifications such as GIAC, GSNA, or GCIA, or the ability to obtain them within 6 months of the contract award.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Cyber Operations Team, coordinating and executing cybersecurity operations.
• Oversee security operations, including incident analysis, incident handling, and vulnerability management.
• Administer and manage security devices such as Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Perform log analysis, intrusion detection, and system patching.
• Develop and implement information security policies and procedures.
• Train and mentor team members and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel in Federal and Contractor environments.
