This position is temporary through June 28, 2026. Hours will be full-time 40 hours per week. The work location is on-site in Washington, DC. The pay range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Active Secret clearance required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Archangel, ServiceNow, Technical Hardware and Software Experience, Networking
  • CISSP, CISM, CAP, Network+ or similar relevant certification

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of step 0-3 of the Risk Management Framework in accordance with NIST 800-37 and 800-53.
  • Guide ISO teams through RMF preparation, system categorization, and security control selection to support timely authorization.
  • Review and validate cybersecurity documentation for compliance with NIST SP 800-60, FIPS 199, and FIPS 200, as well as Department of State policies.
  • Maintain RMF artifacts, track workflow, and support evidence management in the Archangel GRC tool.
  • Coordinate with Authorizing Official Designated Representatives (AODRs) and system stakeholders to communicate risk posture and ensure assessment readiness.
