About The Position
Crittenton Children's Center is the Kansas City area's premier provider of psychiatric care for children, adolescents and their families. Located on a picturesque, 96-acre campus in south Kansas City, it offers a serene and beautiful environment to aid in the healing process. With over 120 years of experience, Crittenton provides comprehensive behavioral health care programs, supported by the resources of Saint Luke's Health System. This role is for a part-time weekend Information Associate who will serve as an integral member of the primary patient care team, performing clerical duties to support an organized healthcare office and allow medical staff to focus on patient care.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform clerical duties to maintain an organized healthcare office.
- Coordinate department communication within the unit, between ancillary departments, and with supervisory and management teams.
- Admit patients.
- Administer and maintain patient records.
- Break down medical charts for record keeping.
- Coordinate billing.
