About The Position

Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) has a dynamic opportunity for an Informatics and Analytics Coordinator. Our Coordinator provides support to the Strategic Management department and is responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks associated with the administration of the Electronic Medical Record [currently Sigmund Software/Aura (SAAS model)] and analysis of data for recurring reporting for Gateway Rehab Center. This position receives frequent instruction and supervision. This is a REMOTE position with occasional travel for training and business needs. To be considered for the position, you must live within the Pittsburgh, PA area or surrounding counties and be able to travel throughout the region as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience working with electronic medical record software products.
  • Experience working with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 security regulations.
  • Computer literacy required for Microsoft Office Products (Word and PowerPoint) including advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • SQL Knowledge and Experience.
  • Tableau.

Nice To Haves

  • EMR Behavioral Health experience preferred.
  • Sigmund Software/Aura experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains service desk plus informatics tickets including timely and accurate responses for issues referred by EMR Users.
  • Monitors timeliness and effectiveness of the EMR Vendor response to service task tickets.
  • Coordinates Gateway participation in the vendor’s user groups.
  • Reviews and distributes communications from the EMR vendor including all release notes, trainings, and updates.
  • Coordinates data definitions & data integrity issues as well as changes to service types, forms & policies.
  • Provides ongoing staff trainings on EMR and workflows.
  • Prepares variation analysis worksheets.
  • Prepares graphs of market, census, financial, and other data for regular, ongoing reporting
  • Provides data on legislative matters relating to substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and funding.
  • Provides data and information for various regulatory bodies.
  • Provides data for preparation of grant applications.
  • Performs various clerical duties as necessary.
  • Assists in special projects as needed.
  • Travels to various Gateway sites as needed.
  • Attends GRC mandatory training and in-services.
