Influencer Marketing Specialist

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and MattressesTown of Clay, NY

About The Position

The Influencer Marketing Specialist owns the day-to-day success of Raymour & Flanigan's influencer marketing program, ensuring creator partnerships, campaign activations, and content delivery operate at a consistently high standard that drives brand awareness, customer engagement, and measurable business results. Working closely with the Manager of Social & Content Strategy, agency partners, and cross-functional teams, this role is responsible for bringing influencer campaigns to life across product launches, seasonal initiatives, and always-on programming -- while ensuring creator content is leveraged intelligently across the broader marketing ecosystem to maximize its value and impact. Success in this role depends on the ability to combine strong relationship management, operational discipline, and creative judgment -- knowing how to build authentic creator partnerships while maintaining the rigor needed to execute campaigns accurately, efficiently, and at scale. A curiosity for emerging platforms, creator trends, and AI-enabled tools is expected as part of how this work gets done.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, social media marketing, public relations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing influencer campaigns end to end -- from creator identification and briefing through content delivery, compliance, and performance reporting.
  • Strong understanding of the influencer and creator landscape across major social platforms, including content formats, audience dynamics, and platform-specific best practices.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, timelines, and stakeholder relationships simultaneously without losing detail.
  • Experience managing influencer contracts, usage rights, FTC compliance, and platform policies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with creators, agency partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and translate findings into actionable program recommendations.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for leveraging AI and emerging tools to improve influencer research, workflow efficiency, and campaign management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in retail, home furnishings, lifestyle, or a highly promotional omnichannel marketing environment.
  • Familiarity with digital asset management systems such as Bynder and influencer marketing platforms.
  • Experience coordinating influencer content for use in paid media, CRM, or other owned channels beyond organic social.
  • Experience working within or alongside a marketing agency on influencer program execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end operational success of influencer campaigns across product launches, seasonal activations, and always-on initiatives -- ensuring every campaign is delivered on time, on brand, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Manage campaign timelines, creator deliverables, approval workflows, and activation coordination across multiple concurrent projects, maintaining clarity and accountability at every stage.
  • Evaluate and recommend creators aligned with brand values, audience demographics, content quality, and campaign objectives -- building a pipeline of influencer talent that strengthens the program over time.
  • Develop influencer briefs in partnership with the agency, ensuring creators have clear expectations, brand context, and deliverable requirements before activations begin.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with creators, agency partners, and internal stakeholders that support long-term program health and partnership quality.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day internal contact for influencer execution with agency partners -- coordinating deliverables, timelines, approvals, and campaign requirements to ensure agency execution aligns with approved strategy and brand standards.
  • Partner with the Social Media Specialist to coordinate UGC creator output, content needs, and product allocation within the shared influencer and UGC budget -- maximizing the value of every creator investment.
  • Escalate strategic decisions, partnership risks, and issues requiring senior judgment to the Manager of Social & Content Strategy.
  • Own the content review, approval, and delivery process for all influencer activations -- ensuring every piece of content meets brand, campaign, and contractual requirements before it is published or distributed.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of influencer contracts, content rights, usage terms, and creator assets -- ensuring the organization always knows what content it owns and how it can be used.
  • Coordinate usage rights extensions and additional licensing as campaign needs evolve, protecting the organization's ability to maximize content across channels.
  • Organize and maintain influencer content and documentation in Bynder, ensuring assets are accessible, correctly tagged, and available for use across the marketing ecosystem.
  • Identify opportunities to extend the value of influencer content across Organic Social, Paid Media, CRM, and other channels -- treating creator output as a strategic asset, not a channel-specific deliverable.
  • Support the development of long-term influencer and brand ambassador relationships that reduce reliance on one-off activations and build sustained brand affinity over time.
  • Own product selection, ordering, fulfillment, and tracking for all influencer activations -- ensuring creators receive the right products at the right time to support campaign execution.
  • Manage influencer product budgets and fees with accuracy, proactively resolving fulfillment issues before they impact campaign timelines.
  • Own the ongoing development and maintenance of influencer product lookbooks -- featuring best sellers, trending products, and new arrivals -- ensuring creators always have a current, compelling view of the brand's product priorities.
  • Partner with Project Management, Design, Copy, and Merchandising to keep lookbooks accurate, visually strong, and aligned with current business priorities.
  • Monitor influencer campaign performance against established KPIs -- including reach, engagement, content quality, traffic, and conversion -- and translate findings into actionable recommendations that improve future programming.
  • Maintain reporting tools and performance records that give the Manager of Social & Content Strategy clear, timely visibility into program effectiveness and creator performance.
  • Stay current on creator culture, emerging platforms, influencer trends, and competitive activity -- bringing relevant opportunities and innovations to the team proactively rather than reactively.
  • Identify and implement AI tools and integrations that improve influencer research, creator vetting, campaign management, rights tracking, and reporting efficiency -- continuously raising the operational standard of the program.
  • Coordinate influencer and PR-related requests from stores and internal partners, ensuring information is accurate, timely, and aligned with current campaign priorities.
  • Support PR pitching efforts by providing campaign details, promotional information, and community outreach opportunities that strengthen earned media potential.
