About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician for a role focused on wound management in post-acute care settings. Physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. The group offers comprehensive physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship to ensure clinical excellence. Physicians are trained to utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. This is a mobile practice where physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day within a 40-60 mile radius, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
Perform clinical documentation in real-time during clinical rounds using the proprietary wound-specific EMR.
