About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician for a role focused on wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians provide bedside wound care, conduct weekly rounds, and utilize cutting-edge technologies and wound care modalities. The group offers comprehensive physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, allowing physicians to become experts in the field. This is a mobile practice with opportunities for both full-time and part-time employment, emphasizing clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
Conduct weekly wound rounds at assigned facilities.
Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
Perform clinical documentation at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
Participate in a 6-month wound care fellowship.
