About The Position
We are seeking an Infectious Disease Physician for a Locum Tenens position to provide telehealth coverage. The role involves conducting Infectious Disease consultations for adult inpatients across multiple facilities. The physician will manage an average daily volume of 10-12 patients remotely, collaborating with onsite Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners to ensure coordinated care. All clinical encounters must be documented in the Epic EMR system. This is a clinical-only role, requiring availability for 5-7 shifts per month.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC) only
- Licensed in CA
- DEA required
- Clean NPDB, clean malpractice and background check required
- Proficient in telemedicine technology
Nice To Haves
- WA and OR licenses preferred
- Telemedicine experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide telemedicine Infectious Disease consultations for inpatient settings across multiple facilities
- Manage an average daily volume of 10-12 patients remotely
- Collaborate with onsite PA/NPs to coordinate patient care
- Document all clinical encounters in Epic EMR
- Maintain availability for 5-7 shifts per month from 8am-4pm PST
