About The Position

Assists practitioners in performing procedures, managing telephone prescription orders and refills, maintaining patient records, and relaying test results. The Infectious Disease teams provide healthcare services to residents and healthcare providers in Benton, Lincoln, and Linn counties. The department also hosts the International Travel Clinic.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
• Previous medical back-office experience or medical assistant training required
• 1 year of relevant experience is required
• BLS/BCLS certification is required

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Infectious Disease preferred
• Lab and EKG experience preferred
