About The Position

As an Infection Preventionist, you will conduct targeted infection surveillance activities, including investigating and responding to outbreaks of infections among patients and personnel. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree within a clinical discipline preferred.
  • 2+ years of years of experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in a Healthcare related field is preferred.
  • Requires Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or Associate-Infection Prevention and Control (a-IPC) certification within 2 years of hire.
  • CIC is preferred.
  • Knowledge of infectious disease, epidemiology, asepsis and immunology, medical procedures, or medical and environmental microbiology is preferred.
