About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Infection Preventionist (RN) to lead and manage our infection control program in a skilled nursing environment. This role ensures compliance with CDC, CMS, and State regulations while supporting resident safety and quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Active Indiana RN License or ability to obtain
• Completion of CDC Nursing Home Infection Preventionist Training (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Previous experience in long-term care, hospital, or healthcare setting strongly preferred
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation (weekday and weekend coverage as part of leadership team)
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, families, and team members

• Long-term care or healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control programs
• Ensure compliance with CDC, CMS, and State guidelines
• Conduct surveillance, reporting, and education related to infection control practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support quality outcomes and regulatory readiness
• Provide staff education and ongoing training on infection prevention protocols
