About The Position

Direct a comprehensive infection prevention program by planning and evaluating evidence-based control measures to mitigate risks and enhance patient safety. Lead rigorous surveillance and epidemiological investigations to identify infection sources, implementing rapid containment strategies for known or suspected outbreaks. Ensure 100% compliance with local, state, and federal public health regulations by analyzing evolving standards and managing mandatory disease reporting to government authorities. Collaborate on the delivery of specialized clinical education and participate in epidemiological studies to evaluate new care delivery methods and the impact of emerging health products.

Requirements

Certified Certification specializing in Infection Control credentialed from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC) preferred.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing preferred.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
