Our Infection Prevention and Control team plays a critical role in safeguarding the health of our patients, staff, and visitors by implementing evidence-based practices and innovative solutions to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. As an Infection Prevention Spec I, you will assess, evaluate, and address the needs of professional staff in infectious disease and infection prevention and control practices. You will identify and investigate trends, recommend resolutions, and monitor policies to ensure compliance with infection prevention standards. This role serves as a vital resource for nursing and other healthcare professionals, promoting a safe environment for all.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or other health-related field.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and electronic health records.
- Basic proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical confidentiality.
Nice To Haves
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, or related field.
- Graduate coursework in statistics, clinical microbiology, epidemiology, and infection prevention and control.
Responsibilities
