About The Position

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their team as Infection Prevention Nurses. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for residents by implementing and monitoring infection prevention practices.

Requirements

Active and in-good-standing Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
One year of prior experience providing specialized treatments in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting.
Prior Infection Control experience.
Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conducting rounds to monitor infection prevention practices.
Discussing infection prevention practices with staff members.
Collecting infection data from departments.
Maintaining records for each case of healthcare-associated infection.
Conducting outbreak investigations.
Training staff members on the implementation of infection prevention practices.
Investigating incidents of infections and reporting them to the appropriate person/department.
Ensuring the availability of supplies required for infection prevention activities.
