About The Position
The Infection Prevention/Employee Health Nurse primary responsibilities include Infection Prevention Surveillance, data collection, data entry, and report development for Employee Health and Infection Prevention quality improvement. This is a .9 FTE position, working Monday through Friday during the day, with weekends and holidays off. The role offers a salaried pay structure that increases with experience.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, RN required.
- Licensed in the state of Iowa.
- Completion of Infection Control Practitioner course within 2 years if not completed
- Nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Experience in Infection Control preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communications.
- Basic computer skills with word processing and spreadsheet, preferred.
- Effective interpersonal/communication skills.
- Able to work flexible hours.
