About The Position

We are now hiring an Infection Prevention Control Training Specialist to join our Nursing leadership team in Connecticut! Full-time (37.50 hours per week). This position requires a minimum of 24 hours each month providing training to staff within the community on each shift. The remainder of the hours will be working on the day shift 7am-3pm (13.50 hours). Some weekends and some holidays required. What Makes Bridges a Great Place to Work? Requirements

  • Must have a CDC Infection Control Prevention Certificate or be willing to certify through us or another approved infection control certification.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Some experience working in an Assisted Living community preferred.
  • LPN License preferred.

Responsibilities

  • The Infection Prevention Control Training Specialist is responsible for the training of all team members on infection prevention and control utilizing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention program.
  • This is a full-time position for the Bridges communities in the State of Connecticut.
  • Monitors Infection control policies within the community.
  • Provides quality control and implements training as needed.
  • Follows state guidelines on infection control.
