About The Position
Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time Infection Control / Staff Development Coordinator position. This leadership role oversees infection prevention and control while leading staff education, training, and compliance initiatives throughout our skilled nursing facility.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and clinical skills.
Nice To Haves
- Infection control or infection prevention experience preferred.
- Staff development, staff education, or nursing education experience preferred.
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the facility's Infection Prevention and Control Program.
- Monitor infection trends, maintain required documentation, and prepare reports.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention policies, isolation procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and coordinate staff orientation, education, and ongoing in-service training.
- Identify infection control concerns and implement appropriate corrective actions and follow-up.
- Collaborate with the Administrator and Director of Nursing on quality improvement initiatives.
