Infant & Toddler Teacher
About The Position
Discovery Kidzone is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic Infant & Toddler Teacher to join their growing team in Bozeman. Teachers make a lasting impact by creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where young children learn through play, exploration, and caring relationships. This role involves providing attentive care and supervision for infants and toddlers, supporting daily routines, preparing bottles, creating learning experiences, fostering development, observing and documenting milestones, building relationships with families, collaborating with colleagues, and maintaining a clean and safe classroom.
Requirements
- At least 16 years old
- Passion for working with infants and toddlers
- Previous childcare experience is helpful but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patient, dependable, and organized
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to complete all required Montana licensing and training requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care and supervision for infants and toddlers
- Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and playtime
- Prepare bottles and follow proper food storage and sanitation procedures
- Create fun learning experiences through music, sensory play, books, movement, and hands-on exploration
- Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development
- Observe and document children's daily activities and developmental milestones
- Build positive relationships and communicate with families
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to provide exceptional care and learning experiences
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom that meets health and safety standards
