About The Position
The Learning Experience – Oak Creek is seeking a nurturing and dependable Infant / Toddler Teacher to support young learners during a critical stage of early development. This role focuses on creating a safe, responsive classroom environment where children build early communication skills, confidence, and independence through consistent routines and hands-on exploration. This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working with younger age groups and supporting both caregiving and early learning experiences.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior infant or toddler classroom experience preferred
- Comfortable supporting diapering and feeding routines
- Patient, dependable, and team-oriented
- Must meet Wisconsin childcare licensing requirements
Responsibilities
- Support classroom routines for infants and toddlers ages 6 weeks to 24 months
- Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and supervision throughout the day
- Implement developmentally appropriate activities that encourage early learning
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that meets safety standards
- Support children’s language, social, and sensory development
- Communicate daily updates with families regarding routines and milestones
- Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership
- Follow all Wisconsin childcare licensing requirements and center policies
