About The Position

A Little Journey Montessori School is seeking a full-time Infant/Toddler Teacher for its Montessori Program. This role is ideal for someone who is consistent, reliable, and enjoys working with young children and colleagues. The position requires adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to manage a classroom and collaborate with other teachers. The school is a licensed childcare facility looking for a qualified, wonderful, loving, and caring teacher for infants and toddlers. Montessori experience is preferred but not mandatory. The program operates year-round, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Requirements

• Hands-on infant, Child, and Adult CPR/First Aid certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• Must pass a criminal background check for state licensing requirements.
• Verification of Immunizations (MMR and tDap).
• Training courses for state licensing requirements within 30 and 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Aid lead teachers with classroom management.
• Change diapers as needed.
• Supervise young children inside and outside.
• Cleaning up after children and light chores throughout the day.

• Aiding lead teachers with tasks throughout the day.
• Communicating with other teachers and parents.
