About The Position
Implement the Early Head Start (EHS) curriculum, assessment, and Head Start Performance Standards in Early Head Start classrooms. Prepare daily lesson plans in advance that include indoor and outdoor activities, are individualized to infants’ and toddlers’ needs, interests, and schedules, and incorporate multicultural education materials and activities, family-style meals, and other appropriate elements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to cope with stress.
- Ability to engage in strenuous physical activity and lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience working with families and young children.
