About The Position

We are opening brand-new rooms in our Infant program and looking for teachers to help us fill them with love, learning, and laughter. We have multiple campus locations available: Bethesda United Methodist Church / Bethesda, Potomac Village / Potomac, and Bethesda-Chevy Chase / Bethesda. The role involves building strong, trusting bonds with infants ages 6 weeks–12 months, creating a safe, secure, and loving environment, and nurturing each child's physical, social-emotional, and developmental needs. Teachers will lead by example within their classroom team, communicate warmly and effectively with children, families, colleagues, and the community, and maintain consistent, positive, and safe routines.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant experience
• MSDE 90hr Infant/Toddler Certification or CDA Certification with Infant/Toddler Endorsement (required)
• A solid grasp of child development principles and instructional strategies
• Strong knowledge of MSDE regulations
• A warm, friendly, unflappable personality
• Reliability you can set a clock to
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle a few things at once
• A team-first mindset
• Must pass a state and federal background check as a condition of employment.
• Applicants for our federal center campuses must also obtain GSA security clearance through a government background screening.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort with everyday tech tools like Microsoft Office (a plus)
