This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the growth and development of children while supporting our mission to provide high-quality education and care. As an Associate Teacher, you will provide care and education for children ages 0-5, ensuring a positive and engaging learning experience. You will collaborate with the Center Supervisor and Teachers to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities. You will assume the responsibilities of a Teacher in their absence, guiding and supporting instructional assistants, parents, and volunteers. You will maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for all children. You will assist in planning and executing educational activities that promote child development. You will participate in physical activities with children, including games, music, and outdoor play. You will assist with bus supervision, ensuring the safety and engagement of children during transportation. You will complete pediatric first aid and pediatric CPR training within the first 30 days of hire. You will complete 16 hours of training on preventative health practices and nutrition, as required by Health and Safety Code within the first 30 days of hire.
