About The Position
The Learning Experience – Ramsey is seeking a caring and dependable Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Our Infant Teachers create a warm, responsive environment where babies feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore. Through consistent routines, sensory experiences, movement, and meaningful interactions, you’ll help our youngest learners reach important early developmental milestones.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- Infant, daycare, preschool, or childcare experience is a plus
- Comfortable with feeding, diapering, and individualized infant routines
- Patient, nurturing, reliable, and team-oriented
- Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for infants throughout the day
- Support feeding, diapering, naps, and individualized daily routines
- Engage infants in age-appropriate sensory, movement, and early learning experiences
- Encourage early language, physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development
- Observe and support developmental milestones
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized Infant classroom
- Build trusting relationships and communicate positively with families
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership
- Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
