About The Position

The Learning Experience – Manassas City is seeking a caring Lead Infant Teacher to guide daily routines in our infant classroom. This role focuses on creating a nurturing environment where infants develop secure relationships and early communication skills through consistent care and sensory exploration. We make early education joyful, engaging and fun so children are happy to learn, play and grow. Our curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff. At TLE®, we’ve created a full cast of characters that become our little learners’ educators, partners and friends through their preschool education journey. Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Prior childcare experience required
• Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in an infant classroom preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead daily routines for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months
• Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and nap supervision
• Implement age-appropriate sensory learning activities
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
• Support assistant teachers and maintain classroom consistency
• Communicate regularly with families regarding routines and milestones
• Follow Virginia licensing requirements
