The Learning Experience – Manassas City is seeking a compassionate and dependable Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you'll create a nurturing environment where infants feel safe, loved, and supported while reaching important developmental milestones through responsive caregiving and meaningful interactions. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous childcare experience required
- Must meet all Virginia childcare licensing requirements
- Caring, dependable, and team-oriented
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in an infant classroom preferred
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months, including feeding, diapering, and nap routines
- Plan and implement age-appropriate sensory and developmental learning activities
- Foster children's cognitive, language, physical, and social-emotional development
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Build strong relationships with children and families through daily communication and updates
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership to provide exceptional care
- Follow all Virginia childcare licensing regulations and health and safety standards
