Requirements

2+ years’ experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
Ability to meet state/local childcare licensing requirement
High school diploma/GED (required)
CDA Credential: A current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential from the Council for Professional Recognition is a common requirement.
Technical Certificates/Diplomas: A Technical College Diploma (TCD) or Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development also meets the requirement.
Other Credentials: In some cases, 25 quarter hours or 15 semester hours from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education or Child Development may be accepted.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree (preferred)
Associate's Degree: An Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is another option.
Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree, especially in Early Childhood Education, is another acceptable qualification.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children.
Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P curriculum using our fun and engaging characters, making TLE a place where learning is fun!
Build relationships with families and colleagues, creating a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through various avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
