Requirements

Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early childhood education setting
Knowledge of infant developmental milestones and age-appropriate learning activities
Strong nurturing, patience, and communication skills
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting infants and sitting on the floor
Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
Must meet Ohio state background check and childcare licensing requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

CDA, ECE coursework, or degree preferred

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, nurturing care for infants in a safe and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
Implement age-appropriate curriculum and sensory activities that support infant growth and development
Monitor and document each infant's daily progress, milestones, and individual needs
Maintain open, warm communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily activities and development
Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety standards, and proper sanitation protocols are consistently followed
Collaborate with lead teachers and center staff to support a positive, team-oriented learning environment
Follow all state licensing regulations and The Learning Experience policies and procedures
