Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a childcare or early education setting
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check in accordance with South Carolina state requirements
• Warm, patient, and dependable with a genuine passion for early childhood education
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Child Development Associate (CDA) or early childhood education coursework preferred
• Strong understanding of infant developmental milestones and best practices

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom environment
• Implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
• Maintain accurate daily logs including feeding, sleeping, and diapering schedules
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress
• Ensure classroom cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
• Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies
