About The Position

Jovie is seeking a Full-Time Infant Nanny to work with multiple families in Seattle, WA. This role involves caring for children in their homes, with a high demand for care for children under the age of 2. The nanny will engage children through safety and hands-on activities based on their age-appropriate development. This position offers a customizable schedule with full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Requirements

At least 18 years old
Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
Available any Monday - Friday for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
Regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching and pushing
Able to lift 35 pounds safely
Able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day
Able to react quickly to certain situations
May need to react to emergent situations in a calm, effective and safe manner

Responsibilities

Care for children in-home
No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child
Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2!
Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children’s age-appropriate development
