About The Position
The Learning Experience – East Brunswick is seeking a caring and dependable Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role focuses on providing responsive care and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for babies in a safe, nurturing classroom environment. Our infant program supports early social, emotional, and physical development through consistent routines, sensory exploration, and meaningful interactions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing and background requirements
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with infants or young children preferred
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, responsive care to infants throughout the day
- Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, naps, and transitions
- Engage infants in sensory activities, music, and early language experiences
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Observe infants and support developmental milestones
- Communicate daily with families regarding routines and progress
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to maintain a positive classroom environment
- Follow all New Jersey childcare licensing and safety requirements
